For one, I am to lazy to get up that early and workout! I find that morning workouts make my tummy upset. I prefer to workout mid-morning or in the evening when my body has been fueled with nutritious food.

Most of my clientele prefer the late afternoon workouts.

Most of the excuses I hear for this is because they do not have time to workout in the morning because of children and because of their hair!

Love the post!

I think the most important thing is that everyone is different and everyone gets excited and fired up by different things and activities. Some people are lethargic in the mornings and some are abundant in energy. The only standards that work are the ones that work for you.

Yes, it's just all about when you have the time really.

But ideally, I find that, for me, I run best first thing in the morning - couldn't do it on an entirely empty stomach though, usually have a small piece of fruit just before (and water).

Any other (non aerobic) exercise has to fit in with whatever else is going on, but on the odd occasion I have managed it, late afternoon has been very good.

Good luck working out at night after going to work. I find that the hardest time to motivate myself. In the early morning, before work, I'm not awake enough to make excuses. Then again, sometimes after a stressful day at work it feels good to release some endorphins.

I think you are right...it just comes down to when we have the time to workout. I like to workout in the mornings but sometimes I can't so I do it at night.
