		<description>Thanks for the tips!  Ankles are one of my big problem areas and when I do run (I&#039;m just starting out) that tends to be the biggest area where I have pain.  

Another thing I have found that is helpful is to massage both ankles for a few minutes before stretching, with both hands, to literally &quot;warm up&quot; the joint.  It seems to loosen and relax things so that the stretches are a little more effective.  That was an old yoga tip that I have held on to for years.  :-)
