Eating lean meat, and fresh vegetables is the best way to lose weight. As well as not putting a whole lot of saturated fats into your body, some of the vegetables (such as celery) have negative calories, which is a great way to reduce your caloric intake.

If you are focusing on building muscle as well, protein shakes made with protein powder, milk, and eggs are a fast, and tasty way to bulk up your diet.

As we all know, diet is the most important thing in wanting to lose weight, and you need to be putting lots of good nutrients into your body in order to get long-lasting results.

Thanks for the post,

Good article. If you want another tip, I have been trying the Monkey Bar Gym diets and it has also helped me enjoy a vegan diet. I have been sticking to this diet for months, and it has helped me lose weight AND feel healthier inside!

Low fat foods often make up for the missing fat with artificial ingredients, gelatins, and chemical thickeners.

Besides that, healthy fats are GOOD for you.

I'd rather have a single serving (i.e. 1/2 cup) of whole fat cottage cheese than more of the gelatinous mess that is "skim" cottage cheese.
