Great tips!

I actually take a day off every week. I've found that I feel overtrained very easily if I don't. Taking one day off doesn't really pose a problem for me as far as it turning into longer, because I just consider it part of my exercise schedule. It does seem easier to get back to it the next day because I'm rested, plus I really DO miss the feeling of having worked out. :-)

I'm all about variety too. Changing things up every so often is what has kept me from abandoning attempts at fitness altogether. I have a whole list of things now that I rotate through, from circuit training to a boot camp DVD to the WiiFit and outside cardio. It keeps things fresh!
