Essential Tip #1 - You absolutely need to find ways to move more

In fact, you can make it a personal daily challenge simply to find ways that you can move your body. If you are given a choice between an elevator or the stairs, always choose the stairs. Walk your dog twice as often as you normally would. Chase your children around the house for fun. Throw a ball around with a couple of good friends. Give the landscaper a vacation and mow your own lawn for once.

Basically, anything that is going to allow for your limbs to move about is not only going to be a really useful fitness tool, but it is also going to be an excellent buster for stress for you and in your life as well. Think about moving in smaller increments of time - Because you really do not have to hit the gym for an hour or take a forty five minute spinning class in order to get the aerobic benefits of moving. Simply find a way to move. Work on moving more and more with every day until it becomes natural to want to participate in more strenuous activities like aerobics classes at your local gym.

Essential Tip #2 - You need to find ways that you can cut out the bad fat in your diet

You are going to want to avoid all of the obvious sources for bad fats, such as foods that are friend, hamburgers and other meats that are naturally fatty as well including ham, salami, pork, bacon, ribs and even sausage. If you are going to eat dairy products, including cream, milk, cottage cheese, cheese and yogurt, then you should opt for the low fat or no fat versions rather than the full fat selections.

There are other things that contain fat and therefore should be limited, including packaged sandwich meats, nuts, mayonnaise, butter, margarine and many types of salad dressings and sauces. Most of these foods are absolutely available in versions that are lower in fat including substitute butter spreads, fat free cheese products and even fat free mayo. Your goal does not have to have anything to do with eliminating all of your favorite foods from your diet. Your goal here should be to find healthier versions of your favorite foods so that you can continue to enjoy eating without allowing it to be a detriment to your health.
