This is my weight loss blog.  This is a very personal journey.  I have struggled with weight my entire life.  Even though I played DI basketball I have never been thin (or at least I have never thought of myself as thin).  This documents my weight loss as I attempt to attain my former playing weight of 250lbs.  I am starting at 390lbs.

I have stopped and started before.  This time it was very public and documented via this blog…  I am currently on my second public (via the blog) attempt at losing the weight…

I am tired of being overweight…  For me it is a combination of a slow metabolism, overeating, drinking, and not exercising.  For the current attempt I am enlisting professional help: WeightLadder Reset — 390lbs and Starting Medically Assisted Weightloss.  In addition, I will strive to not drink alcohol, and exercise at least 5 days a week.

I will be walking, playing golf, and using an elliptical machine…  Maybe even play some basketball.
