I am on a low-calorie low-fat low-carb diet.

I am a state of ketosis and drinking a lot of water too... All of that combines so that in my system I need salt... I choose to get most of that salt in the form of almonds. 5 almonds is a 1 protein snack on my diet...

I find that 5 almonds before and after working out help a lot and they taste great.

I'm kinda iffy on the salt as well. It's all according to your diet. Most foods have quite a bit of salt already. I just found your site, so I'm unsure of your diet, vegetarian, raw foods?

I don't need to lose weight, I'm trying to gain some mass, so my supplement requirements are a little different. But you're trying to lose weight, I agree about fish oils and green tea extract. Check out CLA.

Keep up the excellent work.

I nearly passed out cold while exercising when I first started the diet. My doctor told me I was sweating and otherwise losing a lot of salt. Salt being one of those tricky things for certain people be sure to consult a doctor. For more on my lack of salt experience check out: http://www.weightladder.com/2008/05/06/importance-of-maintaining-adequate-hydration/

I did not know that about Salt. I take a Men's multi-vitamin after lunch everyday to take care of A,C and all the other letters.

Here are a two I would add:
Green Tea (I take in pill form) - Speed up metabolism and is good for skin and other things.

Fish Oil - All men should take this because it is great for your heart.
