High Intensity Interval Training - such as sprint intervals on the treadmill, or rounds on a boxing bag would also help to continue to burn calories throughout the day, and, depending on the type of exercises you are doing, it could come under the &#039;functional training&#039; umbrella as well.

		<description>I&#039;ve also heard that exercise in the morning, specifically before breakfast, burns a greater proportion of fat and can make your body more efficient at burning fat. It was a study carried out in Belgium I think in the Research Centre for Exercise and Health. This is a semi fasted state though so you won&#039;t be able to exercise as hard as you would if you had a meal of carbs in you. But if you put the exercise off till later in the day...you might end up talking you self out of training entirely, like you said in the first point above.</description>
