On Vacation

I am on vacation starting today…  I have been lazy about keeping my blog up to date.  Since I can’t weigh myself on a normal (350 max lbs) scale I probably won’t be able to check my actual weight for a while…  But I will post my meals and exercise.

Other than an occasional drink without sugary mixers, I am sticking to me diet on vacation.  I am also hoping that I will be able to get enough exercise in so that when I do get on the scale again I will be under 350 lbs. 

My motivation is still very high.  I know there is a high likelihood of success.


Weekly Goal #3 — 10lbs

I missed my 2nd week’s goal of 10lbs by 1 lb.  90% attainment.  I am very happy with that.

While I am still in the period of Atkins were the weight comes off quickly I am going to set another aggressive weekly goal of 10lbs.  If I succeed in this goal I will weigh 356 on 8/1/2007.


Lost 14 lbs in 2 weeks!

I had my weekly official weigh in this morning. 

Fully clothed pre-workout I weighed 366.  I have lost 14 pounds in 2 weeks!

Unfortunately I missed my weekly goal by 1lb.  My goal for the 2nd week was 10 lbs.  I lost 9lbs.  I am still very happy with 90% attainment of this aggressive goal.  To follow my progress against all of my stated goals check out my weight tracking page here.

I have succeeded thus far without diet pills with unpleasant side effects or maniacal food reduction.  I have stuck to the Atkins indoctrination period and regular exercise.  Given the amount of weight I have to lose I think I will continue with the strict indoctrination phase of Atkins.
