The 100 Calorie Diet is a type of diet that was created by a pair of sisters, Tammy Trimble and Susie Trimble, and they lost more than 100 lbs following this diet plan that they have put together. They believe that by keeping track of calorie consumption in units of 100 calories, you can lose weight more easily.
Diet Basics
The authors say you do not have to do a low fat or low carb to achieve weight loss. On the plan they have set up, you can eat regular food every day and still be successful as long you account for the calories. Food is measured into 100 calorie portions, and you are given tools are given to aid this task.
The concept is basically to keep eating the same food that you usually would, but to raise your awareness of portion sizes. The authors say that this can increase the success of sticking with your plan because you get to keep eating the foods you enjoy.
The major key focus is on getting over the diet mentality, to instead concentrate on what you are eating today. You will not have to worry about missing out on certain foods, because the diet focuses on calories and portions instead of cutting foods out of the diet.
Eating deprivation can be damaging on both physical and psychological levels according to the authors, and it is capable of slowing the metabolism down. Dieters are also warned, however, not to allow their cravings to trick them into binge eating with unhealthy foods, which is a great saboteur for weight loss efforts.
On this diet, it is recommended that women follow a calorie intake of approximately 1500 calories per day, and that men follow a calorie intake of approximately 2000 calories. Dieters are told to spend all of their calories wisely, only eating foods of a high quality rather than wasting calories on things that they do not enjoy eating.
This diet also features free foods, which are permitted in this diet in unlimited amounts. They can be eaten separately or added to other meals. These free foods include V8 juice, splenda, soy sauce, diet soda, hot sauce, salsa, pickles, cocoa, carob, capers, bouillon, balsamic vinegar, alfalfa sprouts, zucchini, snow peas, tomato, mushrooms, lettuce, green beans, cucumber, carrots, cabbage, butternut squash, bell pepper and broccoli.
This diet encourages participants to look for physical activities that they find to be enjoyable. Some examples of recommended exercises include hiking, dancing, swimming, walking and participating in team sports. It is recommended that participants in this diet try for at least 30 minutes of aerobic style exercise as often during the week as possible.

Hi there!
Great review on the 100 calorie diet! It actually makes a huge difference in concentrating on portions per meal than worrying about what to cut out of a diet!
I believe that is why people fail too often with certain diets because of what they miss in their daily eating habits.
This is definitely something that I will review as well and sure to pass it on to any of my subscribers. Thank you for sharing this and I will be back again for more great advice.
